Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs)

Healthcare-Associated Infections, or HAIs, are infections that people acquire while they are receiving treatment for another condition in a health care setting. Research shows that a significant proportion of infections can be prevented by adherence to established infection control practices. Above all, YOU are a key part of the strategy to prevent and control Healthcare-Associated Infection.
